“What is normal?” Asks Norm when we say goodbye. It is his last appearance. In a sprawling monologue, he begins to dissect what he thinks is normal - whoever lives as norm determines it. But what was actually planned as a lesson about being normal threatens to become its own funeral oration. Goodbye, Norm?
There are three young white men on the stage. They embody the allegorical figure Norm, although they would have preferred to take on a different role. They always wanted to be special. They don't feel particularly good about their job - but they have to go through it now. While they meticulously trumpet the absurdity and cruelty of the "normal state", their personal involvement in the norms remains the blind spot. Normal? It's always the others.

“Goodbye Norm” is a performance about the phantasm of normality *. Who is the norm? What is wrong Who is the point of dividing things into normal and abnormal? Using comedy, biographical theater and a few well-practiced dance interludes, “Goodbye Norm” deals with the often invisible laws and social conventions that create the idea of “normality”.
